OUTREACH

Woodlawn Community Fellowship is committed to being and active member of the community. We engage in a variety of mission work to make a difference and act of living embodiments of Christ’s love for all people. Learn more about our mission work below.

Ready to volunteer? WCF has so many ways you can be a part of our mission work! Contact the church office for more information about volunteer opportunities.

Seasonal Mission Work

WCF supports a wide variety of community partners throughout the year. In 2024, our mission work included making sandwiches and collecting winter clothing for Roof Above, creating care kits for First Responders, a holiday toy drive, angel care kits for Refugee Support Services, canned food drives, and collecting backpacks and school supplies for Pinewood Elementary and the Boys & Girls Club.

Our Amazing Mission Work In Action!

THE BULB

Families in need are invited to receive fresh food through The Bulb ministry distributed at WCF. Food distribution begins each Monday at 10:30 a.m. We serve around 50 families each week with fresh produce, provided from our friends at The Bulb. The “take what you need, give what you can” motto means to create a barrier-free environment that promotes accessibility for all people.

Volunteers are always needed, with a particular need for Spanish-speaking volunteers. Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. Can’t volunteer but still want to support The Bulb? You can make a gift specifically for our food ministry today!

Kindness Club

Gather books to fill neighborhood Little Free Libraries
Add seasonal projects that meet local needs
Who can join:
Everyone—kids, teens, and adults. Families are encouraged to participate together.
When we meet:
At least once a month for a service activity, with occasional pop-up drives
Why join:
Teach and model kindness
Serve together as a family

Make a tangible impact in our community
We hope your family can join us! To get involved, let us know you’re interested and we’ll share upcoming dates, supply lists, and simple ways to help from home.
